What is ‘Drugs, Sex & Honey’? To put it lightly, it’s a one-hour dramatic series about six rebellious teens stuck in a rehabilitation center, all for their own individual reasons. It’s a story about teen-age life shown from the perspective of your typical rebel, alcoholic, slut, coke-head, hypocrite, bitch and girl next-door. Think of all the scenarios that tie in with those stereotypes, now think of the reasons why a person would carry any of those labels. When does our youthful innocence fade? What breaks us and makes us the person we are today?
This site is to expose the potential of this story and gain an audience that understands the raw and gritty side of adolescence. In order for this story to get picked up, I need a strong pitch that will convince viewers that ‘Drugs, Sex & Honey’ is the next golden egg. As a pitching tool I’ve produced and directed a trailer to give viewers the opportunity to soa up the tone and feel of the show, but mostly importantly the characters.
